The 20000 Pieghe is a Motorcycle Raid during which about 1,100 kilometers are run on marvelous narrow curvy asphalt roads “traced and chosen by the organizer, for the participants” who are assigned the task of discovering and following them as precisely as possible.
At the end of each stage the ranking of the day will be determined;the more precisely you follow the routes, the more points you will be awarded; at the end of the fourth stage, a final ranking will be made according to which the title of “Magnificent Curver” will be assigned to the absolute winner, whose name will be written on the Golden Album of the 20,000 Pieghe.
In addition to the absolute ranking, there are also rankings for lady riders, couples (intended as rider with passenger) and teams.
But the 20,000 Pieghe is not only a Motorcycle Raid with final ranking, but also a beautiful journey in the discovery of secondary roads, often unknown to motorcyclists; it is the discovery of new territories and friends, the sharing of moments of conviviality and meeting places, dinners, snacks along the way, stage departures and arrivals in beautiful town squares.
20,000 Pieghe is the thrill of the chronometer at the departure, at transit checks along the route and during special riding skill tests; it is the wonder and surprise that inevitably captures even the most experienced traveler, it is the flavor and awareness of participation to a small but important piece of the mosaic that makes up the History of Italian motorcycling.
